Josh Nucian Associate Criminal Defense Attorney

For over 10 years, I have been protecting the rights of those accused of crimes in Metro-Detroit while also guiding them through the legal process. While many attorneys work the plea-deal aspect to get as many clients through the door as possible – I take the opposite approach. I want my clients to get the best outcome possible while also helping them understand the nuances of the criminal justice system. My goal is to make sure my client’s rights are zealously represented and protected in local, county, and federal courts across Michigan.

My legal career began at the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office in Ann Arbor, Michigan while attending Michigan State University College of Law. While I got my start with driver’s license restoration hearings, my legal expertise is in criminal defense with areas of focus on OWI/DUI, Drug and Alcohol charges, Expungements, and Probation Violations.

Each client I work with receives personal attention because that’s what my clients deserve. I believe that the difference in your case outcome stems from a great relationship with your criminal defense attorney. I have a proven track record for success in helping my clients restore their driving privileges and also getting them the best possible outcome for their case. I am a member of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM), the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA), and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
